Purpose:
The basic objectives of this board are to involve the young people of
the congregation in the work of Christ, provide for their spiritual
growth and nurture, and to promote a genuine Christian fellowship for the
young people of the congregation.
Goals:
- Create an atmosphere of family unity and Christian love among youth at
home and neighboring churches.
- Develop a willingness to share oneself for the benefit of others.
- Provide a variety of activities to promote Christian Fellowship.
- Reassure young people of their forgiveness through the Gospel and as
recipients of God's love and grace, encourage positive feelings of
self and others.
- Perform services to benefit the church and community.
- Develop and strengthen a personal relationship with Christ through
worship, Bible study, prayer, and learn to share Him with others.
- Open up Christian resources of the church to the youth of the
community by encouraging participation in our programs.
