I grew up in the Lutheran faith attending Grace Lutheran School in KCK from
preschool through 8th grade. I attended Bishop Ward HS, Kansas State University,
and I am currently enrolled at Johnson County Community College in continuing
my Early Childhood Education.
My experience in Early Childhood Education extends back to my own childhood.
It includes both nanny and daycare experience and working for the K.C.K school
district. I started at Hope Lutheran preschool during the 1999-2000 school
year as an adminstrative aide and started my current position as teacher during
the 2001-2002 school year. I currently teach 4 yr olds in both morning and
afternoon sessions on M,W,F.
I have 3 children of my own, all who attend Hope Lutheran School and my husband
Joe and I are active members of Hope Lutheran Church.
Some of my volunteer postions at Hope have included room parent, PTL officer,
Sunday School and VBS teacher, and book fair coordinator.
I consider it a privilege to work with the children of Hope Lutheran Preschool.
The joy and love they show every day is a true blessing!
